Cher coming to the Amway Center in Orlando
Attention all gypsies, tramps and thieves: It's time to plan a road trip to Orlando.
Oscar-, Grammy- and Emmy-winning singer Cher has announce a slew of tour dates in support of Closer to the Truth, her first new album in a dozen years, including three shows in Florida. None of them are in Tampa, but hey, if you believe in life after love, you're probably willing to make the two-hour drive.
Cher's Dressed To Kill Tour will hit Orlando's Amway Center on May 16, according to her website. Tickets go on sale to the public on Oct. 11, and they'll cost $25.50-$131. Click here to get them.
Cher, 67, told the Today show on Monday that she's not exactly looking forward to getting back out on the road, but the shows themselves make the whole thing worth it.
"The road is horrible, but the concerts are great," she said. “I understand why guys in bands tear up hotel rooms and throw TVs out the windows, because it’s a very lonely place. The only time you have fun is at the concerts.”
