30 Seconds to Mars, Blake Shelton, Lifehouse headline Universal Orlando's Mardi Gras concert lineup

When a theme park announces a seasonal concert lineup, you can pretty much guarantee a lot of safe, family-friendly choices. When Willie Nelson is the biggest troublemaker in your bunch, you know you've picked a controversy-free lineup.
So we have to give credit to Universal Orlando, which has unveiled a spring lineup that blends traditionally safe choices with some unexpectedly edgy new faces.
Jared Leto's 30 Seconds to Mars (above), modern rockers Neon Trees, R&B singers Ne-Yo and Sean Kingston and Top 40 staples Lifehouse, Pitbull and Blake Shelton are on the bill for Universal Mardi Gras, which runs every Saturday from Feb. 12 to April 23.
Sure, there are some familiar, craggy faces on the bill -- Foreigner, the Beach Boys, KC and the Sunshine Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd -- but all in all, it's an ambitious lineup. As always, the shows start at 8:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m. on April 16 and 23), and are free with park admission. Click here for details on the shows.
