Aerosmith, Ludacris, Bon Iver, Suite Caroline and more

-- If you haven't read Sean Daly's epic story about Belleair's 11-year-old country music prodigy Suite Caroline, please drop what you're doing and check it out here. And then check out the photo gallery, and watch the video below:

-- Willie Nelson's peace-themed Web site featured a song by Wesley Chapel's Sheila Kirsten Hughes last week. Check out The War, a song Hughes wrote about her brother. (This is the second time Hughes has been featured on Nelson's site -- she covered his A Peaceful Solution here.)

-- Blog-bait singer-songwriter Bon Iver is reportedly coming to the State Theatre on June 10, the same week as Animal Collective. This might be the first week in history that Brooklyn hipsters will be envious of the St. Petersburg music scene.

-- Aerosmith and ZZ Top are coming to Tampa July 11. The real question: Will they play the Ford Amphitheater or St. Pete Times Forum?

-- Apparently winning the American League Championship does wonders for your musical street cred. The Tampa Bay Rays have announced this year's summer postgame concert series, and it includes major names like Ludacris, Daughtry, Big & Rich and the Beach Boys.
