Allman Brothers coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall

Are you a Ramblin' Man? Would you like to Eat a Peach? If so, today's your lucky day, because the Allman Brothers Band is coming to town.

The Allmans (the current lineup seems to be Gregg Allman on vocals and organ, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes on guitar, Oteil Burbridge on bass and Jaimoe Johanson and Marc Quinones on percussion) will perform at Ruth Eckerd Hal on Oct. 21.

This is scheduled to be the final show on the band's 40th Anniversary Tour, so expect it to be a good one. It's also one day after Willie Nelson performs at Ruth Eckerd, so good luck to the cleaning crews charged with trying to get the funky smells out of the carpet THAT week.

Tickets are $61.50 to $131, and they go on sale this Friday at noon. Get details at Ruth Eckerd Hall's Web site.
