Andrew W.K. coming to the State Theatre (and he's bringing Dos Equis!)

If there's anyone capable of giving the Dos Equis Most Interesting Man in the World a run for the title of Most Interesting Man in the World, it might be Andrew W.K.

The rocker, motivational guru and all-around force of nature puts on just about the most entertaining live show you can imagine, with fist-pumping rockers like Party Hard and She Is Beautiful setting the tone for a set brimming with unimaginable positivity. We were in the crowd when Andrew rocked the headlining stage on this year's Warped Tour, and trust us, it was fantastic.

So it's fitting that Andrew W.K. will be hosting and performing at the Dos Equis Most Interesting Show in the World, Oct. 21 at the State Theatre in St. Petersburg.

What is this, exactly? According to a press release, it's "a traveling showcase of unique and eccentric artists, performers and curiosities." Among them: Hungarian illusionist Elliot Zimet, world record holder the Great Merlini, Andrew's wife and houserobicist Cherie Lily, and something called "Bubble Man" (no, not this one).

The bad news is, this concert is not open to the public. It's invite-only, and the only way to get tickets is to visit Dos Equis' Facebook page and keep an eye out for ticket opportunities.

Like we said, Andrew W.K. puts on a show not to be missed. So we recommend doing whatever it takes to get in. We have a feeling that's what The Most Interesting Man in the World would do.
