Antoine Dodson coming to the Kennedy in Tampa

It takes a lot for one single party to overshadow Gasparilla week in Tampa.

Take it from us: This is that party.

Antoine Dodson, the viral superstar behind The Bed Intruder Song and the man who essentially made life worth living in 2010, is coming to The Kennedy in Tampa on Jan. 27.

Forget Sasha Grey. Forget Samantha Ronson. Forget Vinny. This is the Hot Mess Party of 2011 in Tampa Bay, hands down.

Bring your kids. Bring your wife. Because as colleague Deal Diva Stephanie learned recently, Antoine, who sprung to fame when an Alabama TV station interviewed him following the attempted rape of his sister, is just a big ol' ball o' charm, a viral star who has gone mainstream through sheer force of personality.

"We've been through too much in our lives to let one incident take us down," Dodson told tbt* last fall. "Remember. Antoine got his message that there's a rapist out there. While you're laughing and cackling, remember the message."

OH WE REMEMBER. We have no idea yet if he'll actually be performing The Bed Intruder Song, but we'll try to find out. Either way, according to The Kennedy's website, you can "come meet Antoine Dodson" at the club starting at 10 p.m. Tickets are $5 for ladies 21 and up, and $10 for ladies 18-20 and guys 21 and up. Buy them here. Or call (813) 259-9669 for details. DO IT.

Honestly, they should just go ahead and cancel Gasparilla, because no one's going to show up after this party. We'll all be too hung over and partied-out.

Run and tell that.
