If you dig Ben Harper or Rusted Root, you might want to give the rootsy Ben Bryan Band a listen.

Fronted by (you guessed it) singer-guitarist Ben Bryan, the group plays jammy acoustic funk-folk with elements of jazz and rock. Bassist Alejandro Arenas, guitarist John Mayeux, drummer Todd Lutes and fiddle/dulcimer player Rick LaBarbara round out the group.

They've put together a new self-titled CD that's available on Amazon.com and iTunes. They're planning a CD release show Nov. 13 at the Hideaway Cafe in St. Petersburg.
