Artist of the day: Luminary Youth

A few months ago we profiled Versus INTL, the electro-chillwave project by Tampa's Matt Moore. These days Moore has a new handle: Luminary Youth.

The sound of Luminary Youth is pretty much identical to that of Versus INTL, with a strong flavor of trippy, psychedelic hip hop. Some song titles have changed (Glow became Lucid Dream, for example), and others remained the same. Moore says the new handle "came to me in a dream. It embodies the ideals of a new generation that is looking for it's own musical voice"

Tonight Moore will celebrate the release of his first EP, Paper Constellations, during All Good Tuesdays from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. at Crowbar. Joining him will be Louis Junior, the rapper formerly known as Enzo; as well as Soft Rock Renegades. There's a recommended $2 donation, and free raffle tickets for shirts from Astral Tourism.
