Tampa’s New Cathedral — Scott Perez, Chris Perez, Ryan Kersey and Ricky Stephens — are a band worth watching in the modern rock scene. They recently opened for Tyler Hilton at the Orpehum and are putting the finishing touches on their debut EP, Haunted, which bears the influence of artists like Thrice, AFI and Danzig. It’s “kind of a dark sound ... but we also focus on catchy and memorable songwriting,” they say. Want proof? Check out their debut single Three, which is available as a free download via Bandcamp.
