Artist of the day: Noah Kussack

noah.kussack.jpgAs the singer of Orlando's XOXO, Noah Kussack has developed a fan base in Central Florida, for his band's jangly, bouncy indie-pop jams.

So it's no surprise he's branching out with a CD of his own. Kussack just released A Momentary Lapse in the Key of W, recorded with producer James Paul Wisner (Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory). Released on Tampa's 24 Hour Service Station label, t's a harmonious mix of guitars and pianos that fans of Ben Folds, Matthew Sweet or Fountains of Wayne would definitely dig. Each song is full of big, unimpeachable hooks and polished positive energy.

Check out Kussack's song When It All Went Down:

XOXO is calling this "a prequel to their LP," so look out for even more new, catchy music from Kussack soon.
