Artist of the day: Pizzazz
Pizzazz are
Shirley and
Lee "T" O'Neill, a couple who've been married for 40 years, but who are "like newlyweds," Lee says. The couple recently moved to Clearwater from Ocean City, Md., and they brought their extensive stage experience with them.
Performing as Pizzazz, and bearing the tagline "Musical Memories," they have a repertoire of more than 1,000 oldies and classics, with stage shows ranging from doo-wop to disco, from
Elvis to Motown to Sinatra. Onstage, Lee handles a MIDI sequencer, but also plays keyboards, guitar, trumpet and a MIDI wind controller, while Shirley plays harmonica and congas.

As Tampa Bay newbies, they're trying to line up a steady gig on the beach, or at any bar or restaurant with an outdoor patio. "Any type of gig where people are looking for great oldies will do just fine," Lee says. "We want to get established in the area!"
How about it, venues -- any takers?
