Being third on the bill is nothing to sneeze at, when the first two guys are Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown.

And it's especially nothing to sneeze if the artist you're talking about is Billy Currington, who's sung some of the catchiest country tunes of the past few years, such as Good Directions, People Are Crazy and Pretty Good at Drinkin' Beer.

Is he intimidated by his show Saturday at Raymond James Stadium? Not really.

"You have the intimacy thing going on with the small shows, and it's easiest to connect, in my opinion, with the people that are watching," he said in a phone interview. "With those big shows you almost kind of pretend that you're out there with everyone, even though you're not because everyone is so far away. I'm not really used to that yet, so it's going to be a learning experience for me."

Currington performs as part of Chesney's massive Goin' Coastal Tour, with Zac Brown Band and Uncle Kracker, on Saturday. The show starts at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $41.40-$278.50, but the cheaper tickets appear to be sold-out. Call (813) 350-6500 for details.
