Blondie cancels Sept. 24 concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall

September is NOT turning out to be Ruth Eckerd Hall's month.

For the third consecutive week, the Clearwater venue's Saturday night headliner has canceled a show at the last minute. On Sept. 10 it was Shaquille O'Neal's All-Star Comedy Jam. On Sept. 17 it was Elvis Costello, whose show was postponed until early 2012. And today, their headliner for Sept. 24, Blondie, has canceled, "due to a conflict in their schedule." The show will not be rescheduled.

If you're scoring at home, this is actually the second time Blondie has canceled a concert in Tampa Bay this year. The first was at Busch Gardens in February.

If you had tickets to this show, you can get refunds by returning them to the Ruth Eckerd Hall box office. Tickets purchased by credit card and being held at the box office will automatically be refunded.

And if you're bored that day, don't worry, there are plenty of other good concerts that night: Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance at the Florida State Fairgrounds; Miranda Lambert at Tropicana Field; Peter Bjorn and John at Czar, and J.Cole at Jannus Live.
