Bret Michaels, Barenaked Ladies round out Tampa Bay Rays concert series

Barenaked.ladies

The Rays have successfully dragged out their Summer Concert Series announcements, to the point that two shows (John Fogerty and ZZ Top) are in the books, with a third (Nelly) on the way this weekend.

But at last, we know the final two performers of this summer. And one of them is a shocker.

Barenaked Ladies above) will perform following the Rays and Marlins on June 26, and Poison frontman Bret Michaels -- yes, THAT Bret Michaels, the one who almost died a couple of weeks ago -- will perform September 25. (Dierks Bentley was originally scheduled for that day, but he's being moved to June 12.)

Sean Daly has all the scoop. We'll just add to that by reminding you that singer Steven Page left Barenaked Ladies last year, so this isn't quite the same group you remember from the mid- to late-'90s. Just sayin'.

Once again, the complete Tampa Bay Rays concert series lineup. As always, admission is free with game ticket:

April 24 (Blue Jays): John Fogerty

May 1 (Royals): ZZ Top

May 15 (Mariners): Nelly

May 29 (White Sox): Hall and Oates

June 12 (Marlins): Dierks Bentley

June 26 (Diamondbacks): Barenaked Ladies

July 10 (Indians): The Go-Go's

Aug. 14: (Orioles): Train

Sept. 18 (Angels): Adam Lambert with Orianthi

Sept. 25 (Mariners): Bret Michaels
