Orlando's spanking-new Amway Center has snatched another A-list show right out from Tampa's nose.

Britney Spears announced a summer tour on Tuesday, and on it is a July 20 date at the Amway Center. (She'll also be at Miami's American Airlines Arena on July 22.) Ticket info has not yet been announced.

The list of pop-music tours now coming to the Amway Center but not Tampa is now staggering: Lil Wayne, Ricky Martin, Usher, Bon Jovi, Sade, Juanes New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys and now Britney.

And quibble all you like with our calling Britney an "A-list show," but when she came to Tampa in 2009, a ravenous crowd of more than 20,000 was there to greet her. We have a hunch more than a few of them will be making the drive to Orlando, too.
