Bucs Kickoff Party: Nonpoint headlining free concert at Jannus Live on Sept. 9

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sure have a type, don't they?
Over they past few years, the team has brought in a handful of national acts to headline their annual kickoff parties, almost all of the alt-rock variety: Paper Tongues, Trapt, Saving Abel, Shinedown. This year's headliner is no exception: Fort Lauderdale alt-metal group Nonpoint.
The Ozzfest veterans -- perhaps best known for their cover of Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight from the Miami Vice movie soundtrack -- will perform Sept. 9 at Jannus Live, along with DJ Z-Trip, appearances by Buccaneers players and cheerleaders, and more. The show is free, and the doors open at 5:30 p.m. Click here for details.
These things get crowded every year, so show up early. Here's our report from the 2009 Bucs Kickoff Party, featuring Trapt.
