Calling all Twihards: Bobby Long plays Dunedin Brewery on Sunday
If you don't obsessively follow the Twilight saga, you probably don't know who Bobby Long is. If you DO obsessively follow the Twilight saga, then you probably want to make your way to Dunedin Sunday night.
Long, a close personal friend of Robert Pattinson, a.k.a. Twilight's Edward Cullen, is playing Sunday night at Dunedin Brewery. Tickets are $15, and the show is 18 and up.
The British singer-songwriter is best known for co-writing the dark, twangy ballad Let Me Sign, which is sung by Pattinson on the iTunes version of the soundtrack. If you know any Twilight diehards at all, you probably won't be surprised to learn that this tiny connection to the film has netted Long a small cult fan base. So expect a lot of young Bella wannabes to pop up at Sunday night's show.
Of course, if you're just into some raw, rootsy, passionate folk that calls to mind Elliott Smith and Josh Ritter, you might like Long, too.
We don't know for sure that Long will bring R-Pattz with him to Dunedin ... but then again, we don't NOT know that, either. You'd better bring all your Twilight memorabilia with you, just to be on the safe side.
