So: How bad do you want to see Chris Cornell in concert?

Bad enough to miss Tropical Heatwave?

That, unfortunately, is the position Tampa music fans are now in. The Soundgarden singer has finally rescheduled his much-anticipated acoustic concert at the Tampa Theatre, which was slated for Nov. 5, then canceled at the last minute due to laryngitis. The bad news is, the new date is May 12 -- the same day as WMNF's annual Tropical Heatwave concert, at venues all over Ybor City.

D'oh.

If you can stand missing acts like Chuck Prophet, Jason Isbell and 400 Unit, the Bright Light Social Hour and others, tickets to Cornell's rescheduled show are $29.50. Click here to get them.

We're still holding onto our Cornell ticket from last time. But on the other hand, how can we miss Tropical Heatwave for the second year in a row? TECO Streetcar, here we come.
