Coming to Tampa Bay: Foreigner, Cheech and Chong ... and Beck?

When we heard the words "Beck coming to Tampa," we nearly wet our pants with glee, then changed into new pants and wet them with equal fervor -- THAT is how excited we were about the possibility of Beck coming to Tampa.

Sadly it turns out it's just GLENN Beck who's coming to town.

The former local radio gadfly-turned-Fox News lightning rod is coming to Tampa for a book signing on Saturday. It's at noon at the Borders on South Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. Like him or hate him, this you cannot deny: The man is a showman. (Though we'd still rather hear Debra.)

And if THAT doesn't satisfy all your Beck-lust, check this out: Beck and Bill O'Reilly will join up for a joint tour that hits the USF Sun Dome at 8 p.m. Jan. 29. It's like Radiohead touring with U2, only the exact opposite of that! Click here for the details.
