Cracker to headline WMNF Tropical Heatwave 2011 on May 14
Looks like WMNF-88.5 is experimenting with a slow rollout for the lineup for this year's 30th edition of Tropical Heatwave.
Today on a special Heatwave Facebook page, WMNF announced that alt-rock band Cracker would headline this year's festival on May 14. The page says there will be 46 bands on 9 stages, but it seems awful early to be that specific. At any rate, Cracker is a pretty huge get, and arguably the most mainstream Heatwave headliner in years. Sounds like they're pulling out all the stops for their birthday show.
That's all the info we've got for now, but as they say in the old-timey newsreels: Further details as bulletins warrant.
