Diddy-Dirty Money cancels Jannus Live concert

We'll admit, there's been a palpable lack of buzz surrounding Saturday's Diddy-Dirty Money concert at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg. Maybe Sean "Diddy" Combs is feeling it too -- because the show has just been canceled.

According to Ticketmaster, all four of Diddy-Dirty Money's Florida dates this week have been canceled, including Thursday in Jacksonville, Friday in Melbourne and Sunday in Orlando. Jannus Live officials weren't immediately given an official reason; we've called Diddy's agents for details, and will let you know when we hear something.

We'd heard a rumor that this show wasn't selling very well; maybe that had something to do with today's news. As a wise man once said: It's all about the Benjamins, baby. (If you did buy tickets, refunds are available at point of purchase.)

If you're scoring at home, let's go ahead and add this to the list of major hip-hop concerts that have canceled shows at Jannus Live, including Big Boi, Sean Paul and Grupo Mania. Great White canceled a show there, too, but their contributions to the American hip-hop canon are minimal, at best.

On the glass-is-half full side, we're told Jannus Live is about to announce a new concert -- Candlebox on May 13. So keep an eye out for that, Diddy fans.
