There are some big shows coming to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in the next two weeks: O.A.R. (Wednesday), Jamie Foxx (Aug. 31) and the Pet Shop Boys (Sept. 10) for example.

But the venue officially unveiled its spring and winter calendar over the weekend, and in addition to the usual theatrical highlights, there are some quality musical events on the docket, too.

As expected, Spring Awakening and Barely Breathing Troubadour Duncan Sheik will perform at TBPAC on March 26. Yuletide synth kings Mannheim Steamroller will come in on Dec. 13. Grammy-winning soprano Renee Fleming will perform on Jan. 26. Acclaimed Spanish singer-songwriter Jose Luis Perales will perform on Oct. 8. And Garrison Keillor, who's made live music a staple of A Prairie Home Companion, will appear on Nov. 24.

As usual, the Jaeb Theatre has a lineup stocked with folk and Americana acts: Anne McCue (Sept. 28), Sam and Ruby (above, Oct. 12), Courtney Jaye (Nov. 9) Lilyphone (Dec. 7), Kim Richey (Jan. 11), John Gorka (Jan. 11) and Cheryl Wheeler (March 15) and Guy Davis (April 5).

Comedy fans can rest easy at night knowing Sinbad is still alive; he'll be here on Oct. 24. Elon Gold will bring his act to the Jaeb Theater on Nov. 19. Gabriel Iglesias will be here on March 13. He's Just Not That Into You author and comic Greg Behrendt will be here with his wife, Amiira Ruotola–Behrendt, on Feb. 20. And sketch troupe the Second City will bring their 50th Anniversary Tour to Ferguson Hall on March 26.

Finally, we would be remiss if we didn't mention that David Copperfield would be bringing "An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion" to TBPAC on Jan. 22. Because, really, isn't magic the true music of our souls?
