Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon talks setlists, new songs and the ever-changing music industry

It was a matchup made in interview heaven: Duran Duran lead singer speaking with Stuck in the '80s blogger Steve Spears.

With Duran Duran coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Monday, it had to happen. When the two connected by phone recently, they spoke about Duran Duran's new album, All You Need Is Now; how the music business has changed for Duran Duran in the past 30 years; and how the band is working on filling setlists with classic songs like Rio, Wild Boys, Notorious and Girls On Film.

"We reckon the ratio of new songs to old can be one-third to two-thirds," Le Bon said. "And then we look at it and play with it until we think the dynamics are right on paper. And then really all you can do is try it out on the audience."

Duran Duran plays Monday at Ruth Eckerd Hall; a limited number of tickets may be available for $49.50-$79.50. Click here.
