Dynasty, Mason Caine, Prime playing Haiti benefit show in Tampa
The Haiti tributes keep rolling in.
First there was 7.0, the track recorded by Tampa's Baroque Boyz to support Doctors Without Borders. Then there was Sunday's earthquake relief concert in Orlando with Mike Dunn and the Kings of New England, Thomas Wynn, Lauris Vidal and more.
And coming on Saturday: A hip-hop concert from noon to 6 p.m. at the House of Hitz studios at 1304 W Busch Blvd. in Tampa. Among the acts scheduled to be there: J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League artist Prime, above, as well as former Soundcheck Artists of the Day Mason Caine and Dynasty, not to mention Ryan Kendrick, Apocalipsis, Slick Worthington, DJ Fader, Sho Zoe, the Latin League, and many more. (Click here for the flyer.)
The event is free, and donations of cash and select clothes and supplies will be accepted on behalf of the Red Cross. For details, see tampahiphop.com.
UPDATE: Just got word the pride of Tarpon Springs, 2 Pistols, has been added to the lineup.
