Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes coming to Jannus Live in St. Petersburg
When Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes played the Ritz Ybor in 2010, it was a feel-good, freaky-folky singalong that sent everyone home happy. "A blissful, two-hour evening, one that included the frenzied jangle of the tambourine on 40 Day Dream, a beautifully spooky Hail Mary chorus line on Desert Song, and the sheer, spirited joy of trumpet-tickled Home," we wrote in calling it one of the best concerts of the year. "
So we're especially psyched to see what Alex Ebert and company will cook up under an open sky. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes have announced a fall tour in support of their new album Here, including a date at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on Oct. 1. Ticket prices haven't been announced. The Zeroes' website says they'll go onsale Friday, but Jannus Live's vendor, TicketAlternative, says June 22. So you might want to check both days just to be sure. Click here for details.
Opening the show will be the equally cool Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, who just recently opened for Two Door Cinema Club at the Ritz Ybor.
