Elvis Costello postpones Sept. 17 concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater
For the second time in as many days, Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater has lost a big Saturday-night show -- only this one hurts a bit more than losing Shaquille O'Neal's All-Star Comedy Jam.
Elvis Costello has postponed his much-anticipated Sept. 17 show at Ruth Eckerd Hall, due to an illness in the family. All shows on Costello's "Spectacular Spinning Songbook Tour" prior to Sept. 24 -- including dates in Clearwater, Hollywood and Jacksonville -- have been postponed. It's a huge bummer, as this was sure to be one of the signature shows of this fall in Tampa Bay. Critics have called it "Three hours of hilarity, musicality, and unabated joy."
Ticketholders should contact the Ruth Eckerd Hall box office at (727) 791-7400 for more info.
