Eve 6 cancel tonight's concert at the State Theatre
This just makes us want to put our tender hearts in a blender.
Eve 6 have dropped out of tonight's concert at the State Theatre, blaming "circumstances beyond our control." The band also canceled Saturday night's show at Club Firestone in Orlando. And they don't sound very happy about it. In a post on the band's MySpace page, drummer Tony Fagenson wrote:
We feel terrible about this and tried very hard to make these (shows) happen; however we were dealing with some unprofessional people in Florida that were non-communicative and couldn't uphold their end of the bargain. We worked until the very last minute trying to work things out with these folks, but discovered that it was an unsolvable issue.
Fagenson said the Inside Out rockers plan to return to Florida "as soon as possible," and says they'll have an update soon on how they plan to make the last-minute cancellation up to fans who purchased tickets. In the meantime, Refunds are available at point of purchase.
But just because Eve 6 couldn't rendezvous doesn't mean you should be through with the show as a whole. The rest of the openers -- Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Orange Hour and Klik -- will go on as planned. Tickets are just $10. Click here for details.
