Florence and the Machine coming to the USF Sun Dome in Tampa

See, Tampa? THIS is what we were missing by not having the USF Sun Dome open these last few months.

In what will undoubtedly be one of the hottest concerts of the year, Florence and the Machine are coming to the USF Sun Dome in Tampa on Sept. 25. The Maccabees (the British ones, not the Florida ones) will open the show (The Weeknd are scheduled to open a number of Flo's shows this fall, but not this one). Tickets are $37.50-$49.50, and they'll go onsale this Friday through Ticketmaster.

The show comes just a couple of days after Florence Welch and company will play the DeLuna Festival in Pensacola, so hooray, once again, for festival runoff! Seriously, what a show -- the Grammy-nominated, powerfully-piped British rock goddess is one of "those artists" who never seem to come to Tampa Bay. But now that the Sun Dome is back in action, it's happening. The dog days are over, people! So shake it out!
