Florida music festival preview: Wanee, Ultra, SunFest, Harvest of Hope and more

Spring is here, and with it comes a slate of excellent music festivals in Florida, starting with Julianne Hough, Switchfoot and Darius Rucker at this weekend's Strawberry Festival in Plant City. In March and April, a host of huge names will descend upon the Sunshine State for weekend music festivals like Wanee, Harvest of Hope and Sunfest.

(Note: the Florida Music Fesival hasn't announced its headliners yet, so I've replaced it with Jazz in the Gardens in Miami):

March 26-27: Ultra Music Festival, Miami: Tiesto, Deadmau5, Faithless Sound System, Orbital, will.i.am

April 9-11: Tampa Bay Blues Fest, St. Petersburg: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jimmie Vaughan, JJ Grey and Mofro, Bettye Lavette, Shemekia Copeland

April 15-17: Wanee Festival, Live Oak: Allman Brothers Band, Widespread Panic, Gov't Mule, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic

April 16-18: Stringbreak, Brooksville: Slaid Cleaves, Malcolm Holcombe, Crooked Still, Austin Lounge Lizards
