Florida pardons Jim Morrison for indecent exposure
Mark it down: Today, the state of Florida has decreed it culturally acceptable to whip out your junk in a crowded room.
At the behest of outgoing Gov. Charlie Crist, the Sunshine State has voted unanimously to pardon Doors singer Jim Morrison of his conviction on indecent exposure charges during a 1969 concert in Miami.
"He was a young guy who maybe, or maybe not, made a mistake," Crist said. "It strikes me that everyone deserves a second chance. You have to have the capacity for forgiveness."
Morrison could not be reached for comment.
