If you move a show from the end of the year up to August, it might be hard to call it the Last Damn Show of the year. But Gucci Mane is gonna do his best to add the damn.

Yes, Gucci is headlining this year's Last Damn Show, organized by Wild 94.1. But the real headline is that the show has been moved up to 6 p.m. on Aug. 28 -- not November, as in years past -- and it'll take place at the St. Pete Times Forum, not Tropicana Field.

This is actually a return to form for LDS. The show launched at the Ice Palace (now the Forum) in 1999 with a lineup that included Destiny's Child, Eminem and Busta Rhymes, and stayed there for three years before moving to the Trop. But with Wild Splash moving back to Clearwater this year, it makes sense that LDS would head across the bay to Tampa.

No word yet on additional acts, but as we alluded on Friday, there are plenty of calls for Nicki Minaj on Wild's Facebook page. If were a betting blog, we'd say she's a likely candidate for the bill.

According to Wild 94.1, Last Damn Show tickets start at $25, but they're listed on Ticketmaster as $39.45 to $168.05, and they'll go onsale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Click here to purchase.
