Guns N' Roses coming to the House of Blues in Orlando

guns.n.roses_.jpg

Reviews of Guns N' Roses' October gig at the Amway Center in Orlando were, um, mixed. One critic likened Axl Rose that night to "the old, fat Elvis Presley in Las Vegas." Ouch.

Maybe Axl is maturing in his old age, but he seems to be more open to giving fans what they want. There are rumors that the classic Guns lineup might reunite for the group's induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in April. And before then, Axl and his current Guns lineup are trying to make good with fans by playing intimate venues around the country -- well, intimate for a group that was once one of the biggest in the world.

Which brings us back to Orlando. On March 3, Axl will bring Guns N' Roses to the House of Blues in Orlando. (If you splurged on good seats for the Amway Center gig ... sorry.) Tickets are a jaw-dropping $87-$90, but when are you ever going to get to see Axl Rose that close again? Showtime is listed as 10 p.m., but expect him to go on closer to, say, midnight.

Tickets go onsale at 10 a.m. Thursday. Click here for details on this show.

50 Concerts

50rockWhy would anyone voluntarily attempt to see 50 concerts at 50 different venues in a single summer? Jay Cridlin shrugged and thought: Eh, why not.
