Hatebreed, Cannibal Corpse coming to the State Theatre
If there's one thing Tampa Bay residents love, it's a bikini contest. If there's another thing Tampa Bay residents love, it's a good metal show.
One of those events will take place when Hatebreed comes to the State Theatre on Nov. 15 with Cannibal Corpse, Unearth, Born of Osiris and Hate Eternal. Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 6:30. Ticket info will soon be posted here.
Connecticut's Hatebreed were nominated for a Grammy for their 2003 song Live For This, and you might recognize singer Jamey Jasta from his role as the host of Headbanger's Ball on MTV2. And Cannibal Corpse are no strangers to the local scene, coming down from Buffalo, N.Y. to rise through the Tampa death metal ranks in the '80s and '90s. Just last month, they rocked the Ford Amphitheatre at the Mayhem Festival.
We're assuming none of the bands will perform in bikinis. Probably for the best.
