Help us pick Tampa Bay's best bar
What's up, sports fans. So now that Laura Reiley has unveiled her picks for Tampa Bay's 25 iconic restaurants, we want you to help us with a nightcap.
Tbt* is looking for Tampa Bay's best drinking destinations for our fourth annual Ultimate Bar Guide, and we're taking all nominations. And because bars and music are so often intertwined, we want your help.
Do you dig New World Brewery? Dunedin Brewery? The Emerald? The Garage Bar? Ringside Cafe (above, with Damon Fowler)? Skipper's Smokehouse? The Brass Mug? The Hub?
Or -- if you're not into rock 'n' roll -- are you a Hyde Park Cafe fan? What about the Kennedy? The Green Iguana? Club Skye? The Dallas Bull? Studio Inc.? Mirage? Czar?
Yes, we know, we're comparing watering holes to dance clubs, punk dives to Irish pubs, sports bars to hip-hop hotspots. If you've got a problem with that, take it outside.
Basically, we're looking for any place you can go to have fun drinking with friends. Any place you can go for a cold one, a stiff one or anything in between. Send us your nominations, and look for our picks for Tampa Bay's 100 Ultimate Bars in the June 26 issue of tbt*.
And don't forget: There's still time to vote in tbt*'s Ultimate bartender contest. Your nominees are Ashley from Splitsville, Ian from Howl at the Moon, Mama from Reservoir Bar, Pam from Coyote Ugly and Rafael from Hyde Park Cafe.
Now tell us: What is the best bar in Tampa Bay?
