Jannus Landing owner arrested on tax charges
John "Jack" Bodziak, the owner and president of one of Tampa Bay's best concert venues, Jannus Landing, was arrested by state agents today on charges that he failed to pay $208,418 in sales tax from the venue.
If convicted, the 35-year-old Bodziak, who has also owned the State Theatre and other venues, could get up to 30 years in prison and be forced to pay a substantial amount of money, according to the state.
