Kenny Chesney talks beach vibes, rock spectacle and making big decisions

In the world of country music, stars don't get much bigger than Kenny Chesney. The man may wear the tightest jeans in country music, but that hasn't stopped him from becoming one of the top-grossing touring acts in the world.

And when it comes to his bread and butter -- his stage show -- he makes the final call on everything.

"I make decisions on everything," Chesney says, calling to hype his concert Saturday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. "Heck, I make decisions on the catering company. I make decisions on the colors of stuff, especially how the stage looks. There's a lot of trial and error. There are a lot of things I want to make sure are just right. I want it to reflect me."

Chesney's massive Goin' Coastal Tour, with Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker, hits Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Saturday. The show starts at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $41.40-$278.50, but the cheaper tickets appear to be sold-out. Call (813) 350-6500 for details.
