Korn's Jonathan Davis to perform DJ set at the Kennedy in Tampa

Were it not for Charlie Sheen coming to Tampa one week prior, this show might be in the running for Soundcheck's coveted WTF Concert of the Year award.

Jonathan Davis, the greasy, growly lead singer of nu-metal icons Korn, is coming to the swanky Tampa nightclub The Kennedy for a DJ set on April 29. Also performing are DJs A-Nak, Rob Analyze and Gravity, with an opening set by sudden celebrity Daniel B. Marshall. Early bird tickets (through April 7) are on sale for $7.50; it's $10 afterward. While this is certainly an unexpected show, it's not like Davis is a newbie to the DJ world. He has spun at clubs in Vegas and beyond, and seems to have some credibility in the DJ community.

Who knows, maybe he'll take requests? It'd be worth the price of admission to see the crowd at the Kennedy get down toShoots and Ladders.
