Lady Antebellum coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall

Last year, when Maxwell came to Ruth Eckerd Hall, we predicted his album BLACKsummers'night would be a force at the Grammy Awards. And we were right: He won two.

So allow us another Grammy prediction, now that we know hot country trio Lady Antebellum is coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Sept. 21. Their smash hit Need You Now will be nominated for Record of the Year. That song was catchy, and it was everywhere this spring, making it the exact sort of mainstream crossover hit the Grammys love (see: Swift, Taylor.)

So if you didn't get enough of Lady A when they opened for Tim McGraw at the Ford Amphitheatre in May, this is your chance to see them again. The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at Ruth Eckerd Hall, with David Nail opening.

Tickets, which go onsale June 25, are $52.75-$78, which is a little gulp-worthy, but if you believe the hype that Lady A is the next big thing in country music, it's a pretty cool opportunity to see them in a smaller theater setting. (On the other hand, they're also playing Hard Rock Live in Orlando on Sept. 20, and those tickets are just $39.50-$57.50, according to Ticketmaster. So if you live in East Hillsborough, that might be another option.)

Keep an eye out at for more details on the show. And in the meantime, check out our interview with Lady A's Hillary Scott from last summer.
