Comics can often be surprisingly boring in interviews, tired of being "on" all the time. Not so Andy Kindler. Like a needy puppy, he's eager to please with a million quips and he's fast with them. But this puppy bites.

In an interview with tbt*, Last Comic Standing's Kindler, who's appearing Thursday through Sunday at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa (click here for tickets), took shots at Jay Leno, Bill Maher, Betty White and more -- and he wasn't pulling any punches. For example, he wasn't above comparing Dane Cook's popularity to that of Adolf Hitler.

Yes, really.

"People were really excited, but you didn't really know why, didn't really get it," he said. "But at least Hitler had a point of view."
