'Legends of Hip Hop' postpone concert at Jannus Live; Molly Hatchet moved to Nov. 25

What IS it with hip-hop concerts at Jannus Live?

In the past two years, we've seen acts like Diddy-Dirty Money, Big Boi, Sean Paul and Damian Marley (reggae, but still a collaborator with Nas) cancel shows there. Now Nov. 25's "Legends of Hip Hop" show, featuring Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick (above) and the Sugarhill Gang, has also been canceled.

Instead, the Molly Hatchet show that was scheduled for this Saturday (11/19) at Jannus Live has been moved to Nov. 25, replacing the hip-hop show. Flirtin' With Disaster seems like an appropriate Thanksgiving dinner anthem, so we'll take it.

Refunds for the hip-hop concert are available at point of purchase, though Jannus does say the show "will be rescheduled for early 2012," and dates will be announced soon. Tickets to Molly Hatchet are $15. Click here.
