Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bret Michaels, REO Speedwagon coming to Busch Gardens in Tampa
Winter and spring are just around the corner, and you know what that means: A bunch of classic rock bands are coming to Busch Gardens in Tampa.
The park has unveiled the lineup for its 2012 "Bands, Brew & BBQ" series in February, and it includes Lynyrd Skynyrd (above) on Feb. 12, Bret Michaels on Feb. 19, .38 Special on Feb. 26 and REO Speedwagon on March 4. The concerts are included with park admission, though access to the craft beer garden and barbecue restaurants will cost a little extra. Busch Gardens said prices will be available soon.
This follows the park's annual "Real Music Concert Series," featuring acts that are a little lighter on the ears: Frankie Avalon, the Osmond Brothers, the Grass Roots, etc. The park also announced that its annual Viva La Musica Latin concert series will return on Sundays from April 15-May 6, though no acts have been announced.
Finally, lest we forget our neighbors to the east, Busch Gardens' sister park, SeaWorld, has its own Bands, Brew & BBQ and Viva La Musica series -- but no acts have been announced yet.
