The Max Rebo Band coming to the St. Pete Times Forum

Wait, what? Really?!?

No, not quite. But C-3PO is.

Here's the deal. On Nov. 1, the St. Pete Times Forum will host Star Wars: In Concert, a multimedia concert extravaganza featuring a full symphony orchestra and choir performing John Williams' music from all six films. Narrating the entire experience will be Anthony Daniels, the actor who played C-3PO.

Oh, what's the matter, Poindexter -- not nerd-tastic enough for you? Well, check it:

-- As the music plays, footage from the films will be played on a three-story hi-def LED screen.

-- You'll be able to see an exclusive exhibit of Star Wars costumes, props and more, such as blasters and helmets from Coruscant, Tatooine and other locations. This tour will be the first time some of the props have left George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch.

-- John Williams' handwritten sheet music for The Phantom Menace will be on display for the first time ever. And if there's one thing Star Wars fans love, it's The Phantom Menace.

The show is at 4 p.m. Nov. 1. Tickets are $32.25, $52.25 and $72.25, and they go on sale Friday at noon. Go here for details.
