Say what you want about Chris Brown (and we certainly have), but that was a hell of a performance he threw at us during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards. All those high-flyin' trapeze acrobatics? We can only hope he puts on a show like that when he comes to Tampa's 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre on Oct. 7.

Breezy may not have been the biggest winner of the 2011 VMAs -- that would be Jay-Z, who's apparently gonna be a papa -- but hey, at least he's coming here in the next few months -- which is more than we can say for winners Beyonce, Britney Spears or Foo Fighters (for now, at least). Here's a look at the handful of VMA winners, performers and presenters on their way to Tampa Bay:

-- Young the Giant: The up-and-coming group was the only rock band to perform at this year's VMAs (well, unless you count Lil Wayne). They'll open for Incubus on Sept. 18 at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre. Click here for tickets.

-- Joe Jonas: The presenter and middle Jonas Brother will co-headline a show with Jay Sean on Oct. 1 at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Click here for details.

-- Chris Brown: Like we said, he's at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre on Oct. 7, with Kelly Rowland, T-Pain and Tyga. Click here for details.

-- Odd Future: The young hip-hop crew led by Best New Artist winner Tyler, the Creator, is coming to the Ritz Ybor on Nov. 2. Click here.

-- Tony Bennett: The legendary crooner, who led a tribute to Amy Winehouse at the VMAs, will perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall on March 23. Click here for details.

Finally, considering how much attention Jersey Shore got during last night's VMAs, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that co-stars Deena Cortese and Pauly D are both coming to Tampa Bay -- Deena on Sept. 10 at Bishop Lounge, and DJ Pauly D on Sept. 14 at the Venue.

If anyone, ANYONE, out there is planning to go to Pauly D, Odd Future AND Tony Bennett in the same calendar year, you are our hero. Congratulations.
