New Blind Man's Colour video: 'The Warm Current's Pull'
If you had to sum up St. Pete indie wunderkinds Blind Man's Colour in two words -- other than "indie wunderkinds," of course -- those two words would be "swirling" and "water."
Reviewers across the blogosphere have made note of the aquatic, psychedelic, beach-inspired sound of the band's debut CD, Season Dreaming. So it only makes sense that their first video would be for a song with a watery theme (The Warm Current's Pull) and that the clip would be packed with swirling, shimmery waves and lights.
Directed by Kevin Chapados and Chunwoo Kae, with cinematography by Jon Miller and Ryan Demler, the clip is like a wet, blurry, acid-fueled trip to the beach. If you're not high when you hit play, you will be by the end.
Blind Man's Colour recently played their first shows in New York. For photos and brief reviews of what those hifalutin' city kids thought of these kids from Shorecrest Prep, click here, here and here.
