-- OneRepublic and Carolina Liar, above, will be the openers for Rob Thomas when the former Matchbox Twenty singer comes to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Sept. 26.

-- Ticket prices have been announced for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on Sept. 12 at the Ford Amphitheatre, and surprise, surprise: They're very reasonable! Tickets are $36, $55 and $98. Bruce Springsteen tickets for Tampa go onsale at livenation.com on July 24. Buy them here.

-- Chris McCarty of Gainesville's Chris McCarty Band is playing a free show July 24 at Push Ultra Lounge to raise money for Share a Little Sunshine, a grass-roots tourism program for the state of Florida. But there's a catch: You have to invite a friend to visit you in Florida through this site. Bring a printed invitation confirmation to Push, and you'll get in for free.

-- Bigger Than the Beatles and Third Rock From the Sun singer Joe Diffie is playing the Dallas Bull on July 24. Tickets are $9.95-$15.

-- Aestheticized's Jack Spatafora is a-bloggin' from the Pitchfork Music Festival this weekend. On his list of bands to see: Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear and Tortoise. Let's hope this means he might be able to bring one of those bands to Tampa Bay.
