Next Big Thing 2011 lineup: Sublime With Rome, Cage The Elephant, Foster the People, Bush and more

On Friday, we learned the first three bands for this year's 97X Next Big Thing 11 concert: Young The Giant, Awolnation and fun. Today, we got the full Next Big Thing 2011 lineup -- and it's absolutely stacked.

Cage the Elephant, A Day To Remember, Manchester Orchestra and Taking Back Sunday lead the 11th incarnation of the daylong rock festival, scheduled for Dec. 3 at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre. Two reunited acts from the '90s, Sublime With Rome (above) and Bush, will bring scores of huge radio hits to the stage. Young, buzzworthy bands Foster the People, The Joy Formidable, Grouplove and Sleeper Agent round out the bill.

All in all, it's a pretty amazing lineup, loaded with fresh, up-and-coming bands known for dynamite live shows. (Reggae-rockers Sublime With Rome stick out from the rest of the alt-rock lineup like a sore thumb, but you can't deny their popularity.) If there's a downside, it's that most of these bands have already played Tampa Bay at least once in the past year. Heck, the Joy Formidable was just here on Sunday

But Cage the Elephant, A Day To Remember and the Joy Formidable are three of the most electric bands touring right now. And Foster the People (Pumped Up Kicks) is one of the breakout bands of 2011 -- their recent gig in Orlando sold out, and this was AFTER getting moved to a larger venue. This, we think, will be their first show in Tampa Bay.

Tickets to Next Big Thing 11 are $30-$65, and $250 for VIP. They'll go onsale Friday via Ticketmaster, Live Nation and all the usual outlets. Bonus: Starting Friday, you can get lawn tickets with zero service charges at participating Florida Central Credit Union outlets. Click here for a list.

Finally, not to toot our own horn, but it looks like we nailed most of our Next Big Thing lineup predictions on Friday. (All except Mastodon. There's still time to get 'em, guys!)
