Nickelback (who suck but are secretly awesome) are returning to Central Florida.

The much-maligned Canadian grunge group will play Orlando's Amway Arena on April 19, according to Live Nation. The show is at 6:30 p.m.; tickets are $37.50-$77.50, and they go onsale Dec. 12. Breaking Benjamin and Sick Puppies will open. Click here for details.

Nickelback, you may recall, paid a visit to our fair city in April, and we dispatched our own soccer-mom correspondent Sharon Kennedy Wynne and her friend Lindy to the Ford Amphitheatre for a report. Here's some of what Sharon wrote:

It was the last show of the tour, so the boys in the band and crowd were loose and in a good mood, shooting off massive fireworks to start the show, and many times throughout the show and again during its encore.  "White people love fire," Lindy observed. Indeed.
