Orlando Calling: Blues Traveler drops out, and other last-minute changes

Last-minute schedule and lineup changes were probably inevitable with a festival as new and large as Orlando Calling, taking place Saturday and Sunday at the Citrus Bowl.

The biggest to cross our desk so far: Blues Traveler, who were scheduled to headline Stage 3 on Sunday, have dropped out. According to a tweet from the festival, the band had to drop out "due to personal matters with a touring party member ... the stage will remain dark now during the time slot where Blues Traveler were scheduled to play."

It's only the third sizeable loss for the festival. Jenny and Johnny dropped out weeks ago, and Saturday's schedule has been reshuffled to fill their place. Now, Lucero will perform at 2:20 p.m. on Stage 2 (instead of 3:35 p.m. on Stage 3), and the Felice Brothers will perform at 3:35 p.m. (instead of 1 p.m.) on Stage 3. The American Secrets have been added to Stage 3 at noon.

And last week, Quiet Company dropped out, opening up a slot for Bradenton's Have Gun, Will Travel.

There have been a few other minor time shifts in the schedule, so be sure to double-check your weekend itinerary so you don't miss any bands you want to see. We'll update this post if any more changes happen in the next day or so.
