Paul Oakenfold coming to Tampa's Hawaiian Village

Heavyweight DJ Paul Oakenfold is having a concert in Tampa. But if you're not familiar with Tampa's 2010 party landscape, you might not know how to get there.

The event is 9 p.m. Nov. 12 at The Hawaiian Village, which is not technically its own venue, but an outdoor tiki-themedparty area, with three bars, a pool, a VIP area and more, behind the Green Iguana on Dale Mabry near Raymond James Stadium.

Oakenfold is the first big-name act at the renovated area, which has become a pretty popular poolside party spot, especially on Bucs game days. The Hawaiian Village is billing itself as "Tampa's Premier Live Music Venue" (uh, okay, if you say so), but hey, capacity is 2,800, so who knows, maybe they'll have more DJs come in. There's a DayGlow Paint Party scheduled there for Nov. 18.

Oakenfold tickets are $20, $60 for VIP; you can buy them here. Click here for details.
