Rammstein coming to the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa
Wait a second -- what year is this again? Korn was in Tampa on Friday. Kid Rock was in Orlando on Sunday. And today, we find out Rammstein is coming to Tampa? Did we get sucked through a wormhole back to 1999?
Maybe not, but that's not stopping the German industrial metal outfit from hitting North America for a 21-city spring tour, including an April 21 date at the St. Pete Times Forum. Tickets are $35, $58 and $78, and they go onsale Friday. Click here for details.
The group went nearly a decade between American performances before playing Madison Square Garden last December. Best known in the States for their grinding single Du Hast -- the most charming German-language single since 99 Luftballoons -- Rammstein have remained one of the biggest metal bands in the world, playing stadiums and arenas around the world. Their stage show is a hurricane of fire and pyrotechnics and lasers and grimy, grinding sexytimes.
The Tampa gig will be the second show of Rammstein's North American tour. It kicks off April 20 at the BankAtlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale. If you love fire so much you're willing to drive that far to see it, click here for details on that show.
